Expenses

Children have a reasonable diet here and their health is watched. As some families do not pay good attention and cannot be relied upon to take the necessary steps in terms of quick investigation, payment of medication, regular trips to hospital (physiotherapy, eye tests etc), so we feel obliged to take it upon ourselves to do these things which the families cannot (will not?) do.  

Extra expenses for the home has been a 12.5 PK generator, a well/bore hole, continuous problems with leaking roof and windows.  

One water tank on the roof is not enough to supply needs for a whole day (water is pumped up to the roof from the will from the generator). Therefore needing fuel expense to refill during the day with generator on 4 hours a day.

Other daily requirement    10,000.00 dalasis (incl. telephone & transport

One could say at least 2,000.00 per month per child.
