Many hours and kilometres spent over the last three years.

Many people/businesses promise much, but - in comparison - minimal delivery.

Mostly from tourist related activities (November till April):

-         raffles at bars and restaurants

-         coach visits (only last season)

-         table selling local craft items (only last season)

-         donations from visitors due to leafleting hotels etc.

-         hotel quiz nights.

Group of people with learning difficulties in England (Christmas panto, donation box, coffee mornings, sale of craft items)

One child is sponsored

One family send monthly donation.

A little help from local businesses in terms of cash/kind.

Special donations to pay for certain things e.g. concreting the front, furniture.

Items have been left/ sent by various people from toiletries to games/ videos/ clothes/ curtains/ linen/ kitchen equip.

A lot of the equip was brought over in directors container that had been donated/bought at charity shops etc. along with his family furniture etc. and personal effects.

A successful meeting of staff/ committee members/ family members/ local elders was held recently, forming a small executive with the role of helping to develop Hart House.
